05.09.05 Cardiff Post Article
Many people were concerned with the prospect of potentially losing a bus  service which is relied on by so many people in Rhiwbina. I can confirm the good news for the local residents who use the Number 22 Bus Service. The service has been retendered with a new contract due to commence in October 2005. Due to the disruption to normal traffic during St David’s II works, the Hayes will not be possible to use at some stages of the works.   The full St David's II proposals (The Hayes) will become pedestrianised so a new terminal will be necessary then. It may become necessary to review the use of the Hayes prior to this, but, as one of the local members, I will be consulted.
I have been contacted by many residents about the growing problems with graffiti.Â

Councillors will soon be told about the schools reorganisation programme for Cardiff. When the information is able to be released into the public domain, I will be happy to share the information with local residents.  Please contact me if you would like to be put on my distribution list.Â
