Ready to Listen : Ready to Act

19.09.05 Cardiff Post Article

Congratulations to the residents who worked so hard to fight the proposed Telecommunication Mast Application close to the Wenallt in Rhiwbina.  I have been advised that this application has now been withdrawn by the applicant following concerns expressed by the Council's Chief Highways and Transportation Officer regarding building on the bridge deck.  A revised application may be submitted shortly at an alternative site just to the North of the Bridge.  As one of the Local Councillors, I will be furnished with details when they are presented to the Council.  For more information about this, please contact me.

I was delighted to present awards to the winners in the recent Cardiff and District Chrysanthemum and Dahlia Society's Competition.  My husband, Cllr Adrian Robson and I were so pleased to become patrons of the Association, and enjoy looking at the amazing flowers on display each time.  I will let you know when the next competition is as the displays on show are really worth looking at.  If you would like more information about the Society, please let me know.
